The 2022 MACCDC will once again feature two rounds of competition: the virtual Qualifier and in-person Regional Finals. The eight teams with the best final scores from the Virtual Qualifier advance to the Regional Finals at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physical Lab in Laurel, MD. The first place team from the Regional Finals will advance to the National CCDC, April 21-23, 2022.
The competition dates for this year are:
- Virtual Qualifier: Feb. 5, 2022
- Regional Finals: Mar. 17-19, 2022
- National CCDC: Apr. 21-23, 2022
The 2022 MACCDC is open to all colleges and universities in the Mid-Atlantic region (Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia).
CCDC uses a central registration process, handled by the National CCDC. Registration is open from August 1, 2021 to January 15, 2022 (this is a hard deadline and will not be extended). Registration fees (see below) will be collected by the MACCDC organizing body (National CyberWatch Center at Prince George’s Community College).
